The 2024 Musclecontest Goiania Pro is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, in Goiania, Brazil. This IFBB Pro League Men’s Physique show will feature eight competitors and award the winner a 2024 Olympia qualification if that winner had not previously qualified.
Below is the lineup for this event as of Aug. 29, 2024, courtesy of the IFBB Pro League. Seven of the eight competitors will represent the host country.

Athletes to Watch
Any of the competitors could potentially win this show, but the three favorites to do so are below.
Emmanuel Costa
Emmanuel Costa was a 2023 Men’s Physique Olympia competitor, finishing tied for 16th in that competition. The champion that year was Ryan Terry. His last show was the 2024 Musclecontest Brazil Pro on July 21, 2024, and he finished second to winner Emerson Costa. The 2022 Arnold South America Amateur winner has until Sept. 15, 2024, to win a show if he wants to compete in the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia.
Lucas Viudes
Lucas Viudes was third in this contest in 2023 behind champion Rafael Oliveira. He is the highest finisher from 2023 in the 2024 lineup. Viudes is a second-year pro that has shown the potential to compete in any contest. He will be looking for his first win and Olympia qualification.
Burak King
Burak King is the lone American athlete in this show. He’s trying to return to the Olympia stage after missing the 2023 contest. He was out of the top 15 in 2022. King has competed twice in 2024, and his best finish was sixth at the 2024 Phoenix Pro.
Other Notes
Two other IFBB Pro League Men’s Physique shows are happening this weekend: the 2024 Mexico Grand Battle Pro in Monterrey, Mexico, and the Global Hong Kong Pro in Hong Kong. Those are also the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia qualifying events.
