Data exported from Matrix connected fitness equipment will enable clinicians and personal trainers to recommend evidence-based workouts

Commercial fitness leader Matrix Fitness has teamed up with all-in-one wellness solutions provider Welld Health in an integration partnership to validate fitness programs supported by Matrix.

The integration is compatible with Matrix’s Touch, Touch XL, Target Training, and Virtual Training Cycle Consoles. Specialized results from Matrix’s cardio workouts (such as Sprint 8, a 20-minute HIIT program) have begun integrating into Welld’s platform, allowing health professionals to track and report outcomes.

“At Matrix, our technology is designed to meet the diverse needs of our customers,” said Matt McConley, senior digital product manager for Johnson Health Tech/Matrix Fitness. “By exporting data from Matrix-connected equipment, Welld makes it easier for clinicians, personal trainers, and health coaches to add evidence-informed exercise programs like Sprint 8 as part of broader therapeutic strategies. Welld’s robust outcomes data reporting makes it easy to tell your impact story and, in return, earn more clinical referrals.”

Matrix’s integration with Welld broadens the wellness solution’s program offerings to include Sprint 8, which can benefit personal training and corporate wellness programs, weight loss, and diabetes prevention with its complete cardio workout system.

Matrix signed a three-year contract earlier this year with Omnia Partners, a purchasing organization with extensive public and non-profit reach, giving partnership members such as K-12 schools, colleges, local governments, and healthcare institutions easier access to Matrix’s suite of fitness products and connected solutions.
