A new members-only club blends beachside luxury, fitness, wellness and social connection
A new wellness-forward, social-driven members’ club is gearing up to grace the sunny sands of Miami Beach next month: Beach Club by Proper, courtesy of The Shelborne by Proper, a beachfront hotel that has undergone a $100 million renovation.
Launching May 1, the club offers members exclusive perks including reserved loungers and umbrellas, full beachside food and beverage service and access to the hotel’s Art Deco pool and private cabanas. Members also enjoy 24/7 entry to a high-end fitness studio featuring 20+ weekly fitness and wellness classes, personal training and monthly sessions at local partner studios. Additional perks include a racquet program, enriching programming through the Proper Presents series, weekly live music and DJ sets, monthly breakfasts, quarterly dinners and family-friendly gatherings like poolside BBQs and holiday celebrations.
Club members also have access to thoughtfully designed workspaces and dedicated areas for social connection, supporting the kind of environment Gen Z prefers.
Other membership highlights include four complimentary Sunday night hotel stays annually, which include a Monday morning breakfast credit and entry to the private Little Torch cocktail lounge, a personalized concierge, and access to a dedicated member portal for bookings and updates.
A waitlist for founding members will open next week ahead of the official launch.
