Twenty IFBB Pro League Men’s Physique athletes representing five countries will take the stage at the 2024 Pacific USA XXX Pro on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina in San Diego, CA.

These competitors will face the fans and judges hoping to win and earn qualification for the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia, part of the 2024 Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on the weekend of Oct. 10-13, 2024. No qualification will be awarded if the show’s winner has already qualified for the Olympia.

Athletes to Watch

The three athletes below will likely be in the first callout in San Diego:

Rafael Oliveira

This is Rafael Oliveira’s first pro show of 2024. He was one of the athletes in the lineup at the 2023 Olympia who finished outside the top 15. His most recent win came at the 2023 Musclecontest International Goiania Pro.

Alessandro Cavagnola

Alessandro Cavagnola has Olympia experience but did not compete in the 2023 edition. He was tied for 16th in the 2022 Olympia. This will be his 2024 debut. His most recent win came at the 2021 Romania Muscle Fest Pro.

Joshua Guidry

This is Joshua Guidry’s third appearance of the 2024 season. His most recent show was the 2024 Colombia Pro, where he placed fifth behind champion Guilherme Gualbarto. Guidry is in his fourth pro season but seeks his first win.

Other Notes

This is one of three Men’s Physique shows this weekend. The other two are at the Texas Pro in Irving, TX, and the China DMS Pro Ningjin show in Ningjin, China. Those competitions are also 2024 Olympia Weekend qualifying events.
