Glance at the entry list and you’ll see a fairly plain picture: Ecuador’s powerhouse (and Tokyo Olympic Champion) Neisi Dajomes leads the pack, but her victory isn’t assured as she faces stiff challenges from Sara Ahmed (Egypt), newcomer Solfrid Koanda (Norway), and Australia’s dark horse Eileen Cikamatana.

These four women have the best case for making it to the 81-kilogram podium, but nothing is certain, and athletes from Korea, Cuba, and Brazil are just as hungry for medals.

Weightlifting at the Olympics, Explained by the Athletes

If you’ve been tuning into the action at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, you might’ve found your way to a weightlifting event and wondered: How does this sport even work?

Sure, weightlifting at the Olympics is simple on the surface. Spandex-clad superhumans throw loaded barbells overhead in the blink of an eye. The strongest one wins. Simple as that, right?

More or less, but weightlifting competitions don’t look much like the weight room at your local gym, do they? And yet, weightlifting at the Olympics is incredibly captivating — even more so if you actually understand it. That’s why we’re recruiting a 2020 Olympian to help you get the lay of the land.

Weightlifting at the Olympics, Explained

Weightlifting is one of the oldest Olympic events, having debuted in 1896 and undergone many changes since then. Come Paris, and you’re looking at a straightforward biathlon.

We asked Team USA 2020 weightlifting Olympian Caine Wilkes to explain his sport to us like we were, say, five years old:

“Lifters have 3 attempts to lift as much weight as possible in two lifts: First the snatch and then the clean & jerk. Your heaviest snatch is combined with your heaviest clean and jerk for your ‘Total,’ and the heaviest total is declared the winner. In a tie, the person who lifted the Total first wins.”

[Related: Best Creatine Supplements for Strength]

The snatch is a single movement in which a weightlifter vaults the bar from the floor to arm’s length overhead without stopping.

The clean & jerk has the same objective, but the weightlifter pulls the bar onto their collarbones first, then stands up and pushes it overhead. That push overhead is called a jerk.

Credit: USA Weightlifting

Weightlifting’s charm is based partially in its simplicity. While other Olympic sports may have many different events, each with its own rules or opaque grading systems, weightlifting is straightforward. According to 2021 World Champion Meredith Alwine, the simplicity is the best part:

“I think, despite ranking or position, it’s clear that each athlete is giving their all,” she says. “It’s incredibly moving to see how much it means to them; miss or make. The celebration, and devastation, is palpable to the audience.”

When it comes to weightlifting at the Olympics, the ranking system is as two-dimensional as the sport itself: the strongest athlete wins. That’s the case for every weightlifting meet, but the rules are a bit different at the Games.

Olympics Weightlifting Rules

Weightlifting at the Olympics operates a bit differently than all other competitive venues. While most of the technical rules remain the same — the bar can’t stop once you start moving it, except during the clean, you must display control over the weight before being allowed to drop it — the Games rank and award weightlifters differently.

“At Games competitions, only the Total medals are contested. If you ‘bomb out’ in the snatch, you don’t go out for clean & jerks, since there’s no more chances for medaling,” Wilkes says.

He adds that qualification procedures for the Olympics are more difficult than other events, with stricter rules, too.

If you’d like to read up on the rules of weightlifting, you can refer to the International Weightlifting Federation’s (IWF) official ruleset here. If not, here’s a cursory explanation of the most important rules to be aware of if you’re watching weightlifting at the Olympics (or anywhere, really):

During the snatch, the athlete must move the bar from the floor to arm’s length overhead in one motion.

During the clean & jerk, the athlete must move the bar from the floor to their collarbones, stand still, and then “jerk” it overhead.

Weightlifters must start their attempt before the countdown clock expires.

Weightlifters must not bend and straighten their arms once the bar is over their head in both exercises.

Weightlifters must display control and stability while holding the bar and await a buzzer signal from the judges before dropping it.

The “Rising Bar” Principle

Weightlifting at the Olympics (and everywhere else) follows what’s called a “rising bar.” Each weightlifting competitor declares the weight they intend to lift on their first of three attempts, and are ordered in a sequence from lowest opener to highest.

Athletes are then called in accordance with the weights they’ve declared their intent to lift; the weight of the barbell can only increase, which naturally sorts the order of the contestants in accordance with the rising bar rule. To illustrate:

Athlete A declares and lifts 100 kilograms in the snatch for their first attempt.

Athlete B declares 101 kilograms, so they go out afterward but are unsuccessful.

Athlete C also declares 101 and lifts it successfully after Athlete B failed.

No one wants or needs to try 101 again, so the bar’s weight is increased to 102 for Athlete A’s second attempt.

Athlete B declares 102 as well, and is successful despite “missing” their first attempt.

Athlete C jumped from 101 to 105, so they are waiting in the wings for the bar to rise.

Neither Athletes A nor B want to try anything less than 105, so the bar is increased.

Athlete C announced their intent to “make” 105 first, so they are the first to come out and try it…

And so on. In plain English, the strongest athletes wait their turn and appear on stage last.

What Equipment Do Weightlifters Use?

Here’s an overview of the equipment the athletes use during weightlifting at the Olympics.

Barbell: Weightlifters lift a 15-kilogram (for women) and 20-kilogram (for men) barbell that is specifically designed to enhance performance in the Olympic lifts.

Bumper Plates: Rubber-coated bumper plates of various colors are loaded upon the barbell. Red plates are 25 kilograms, blues are 20, yellows weigh 15, and green plates are 10 kilograms. The unique colors allow viewers to count up how much weight the athlete is lifting.

Change Plates: Smaller replicas of the bumper plates are loaded onto the bar to achieve precise loads. Their weights mirror their larger cousins; small red change plates weigh 2.5 kilograms while the “big reds” weigh 25, and so on.

Collars: A pair of winding collars are wound onto the ends of the bar to keep the plates in place. These collars weigh 2.5 kilograms each. If the bar requires change plates, any that weigh less than 2.5 kilograms are placed on the outside of the collars.

Platform: Athletes perform on a square wooden platform that’s 4 meters by 4 meters. The platform is constructed out of layers of varnished wood and shock-absorbing materials like compressed rubber. It is designed to disperse the force of the barbell being dropped from several feet in the air.

You’ll also see weightlifters using sport-specific heeled weightlifting shoes. Lifting shoes are designed to increase strength and power by adding stability and improving mobility. Additionally, many weightlifters opt for joint support via knee sleeves or wrist wraps.

2024 Olympics: Men’s 102KG Weightlifting

The Men’s 102-kilogram division wasn’t showcased in Tokyo at the last Olympics. This time around, the adjacent categories — 96 and 109 kilograms — are off the docket, forcing the best athletes from those divisions to clash in the 102s.

Two Olympic Champions, Uzbekistan’s Akbar Djuraev (109) and Qatar’s Meso Hassona (96) are among the top contenders for the podium this year. However, they’ll have to contend with presumptive gold medalist and leaderboard topper Liu Huanhua of Team China along the way, not to mention athletes from Armenia, Belarus, Korea, and Bahrain; all of whom have their own paths to the podium.

2024 CrossFit Games Event 4 “Track and Field” Results: Dominance From Down Under

Under the lights of Farrington Field, athletes competed in a two-part event: a 1600-meter run followed by a sprint course with two sandbag carries after a built-in rest period.

In Event 4, athletes were scored based on their combined rank in the two events.

While it was under the lights, it was still hot. Temperatures registered at 88°F/31°C for the start of the women’s heat at the 2024 CrossFit Games.

Individual Event 4: Track and Field

For time:

1,600-meter run

Then, at the 12-minute mark:

50-yard sprint

50-yard bag carry (70/100 lb)

75-yard sprint

75-yard bag carry

100-yard sprint

Final Results

Women’s Division

In the first heat, Abigail Domit took the lead immediately, looking to set a fast pace for the 1600-meter run.

After the first lap, Brooke Wells and Alexis Raptis tracked Domit down. Then, surprisingly, Raptis looked to push the pace after 800 meters but may have thought her third lap was actually the final one and went too fast too early.

Over the final lap, Wells tracked down Raptis. It was the latter who won in a photo finish of 5:34.01.

In the sprint portion, Wells held the lead when athletes dropped the second sandbag.

On the final sprint, though, Australian rookie Georgia Pryor flew down the field and won the first sprint easily with a time of 1:16.64.

On the other end of the field, Chloe Gauvin-David finished second in the sprint at 1:17.57.

Brooke Wells took the top combined score in heat one with a total score of five (second in the 1600 meter and third in the sprint).

A lead pack quickly formed in the 1600-meter run during the second heat. It was comprised of Haley Adams, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr, Aimee Cringle, Emily Rolfe, Bethany Flores, and Hattie Kanyo.

This group stuck together for the majority of the race until Toomey-Orr picked up the pace for the final 200 meters.

Toomey-Orr took the top time at 5:30.16, followed by Cringle and Adams for the top time in the heat.

In the sprint portion, Toomey-Orr and Paige Semenza were in a tight race for the first leg of the sandbag carry before the six-time champ pulled away.

Gabriela Migala came from behind to challenge Toomey-Orr on the final sprint but ran out of space to catch up. Toomey-Orr took the sprint with a time of 1:13.10.

Toomey-Orr won both portions of the event, taking the win for the third time in four events at the 2024 CrossFit Games.

Men’s Division

In the men’s first heat, Luke Parker and Austin Hatfield built an early lead.

On lap three, Parker pushed the pace and created a sizable gap between himself and Hatfield.

As they crossed the finish line, Parker (5:06.02) finished significantly ahead of Hatfield, and Pete Ellis sprinted his way to third place in the heat.

In the sprint portion of the first heat, Parker built a slight lead on the second sandbag.

Parker, along with Travis Mayer, were in a head-to-head race for the final 100 yards.

Mayer couldn’t close the three-yard gap on Parker, who took the second portion in a time of 1:06.92

Ricky Garard showed the world his running prowess, creating a 50-meter lead over the field in the first two minutes of the final heat.

Garard was comfortable enough in the lead to try and pump up the crowd over the final 400 meters as he finished in 4:55.13.

Roman Khrennikov separated himself from the rest of the field during the third lap to easily finish in second.

Justin Medeiros surprisingly finished at the back of the pack, coming in second to last for the event.

Overall leader James Sprague took the lead in the sprint after the second sandbag.

But, it was Garard who hit the turbo button on the final 100 yards to also take the sprint finish in a time of 1:04.89.

Patrick Vellner in “ghost”-like fashion also tracked down and passed Sprague on the final stretch.

Garard’s firsts in both parts of heat two were good enough for the event win, while Luke Parker’s double from the first heat earned him second in the event.

Friday Wrap-Up

At the end of Friday, Toomey-Orr found herself in a familiar position on top of the leaderboard with 382 points.

Haley Adams sits in second place, 30 points behind Toomey-Orr. It’s been an impressive couple of days for Adams, who returned to competition in 2024 after sitting out the 2023 season for personal reasons.

Emily Rolfe enters the weekend tied with Adams. While this is uncharted territory for her at the CrossFit Games, Rolfe looked relaxed in the overall lead at Wodapalooza in 2023 before a calf injury forced her to withdraw.

James Sprague finds himself in the leader’s jersey going into Saturday with 346 points. The second-year Games athlete has been consistent with two seventh-place finishes and two fourth-place finishes.

In second place is Roman Khrennikov with 337 points. Khrennikov also showed consistent finishes over the first two days and has two third-place event finishes so far.

In third is Brent Fikowski with 324 points. Fikowski finished directly behind Khrennikov in both the 2023 CrossFit Games and the 2023 Rogue Invitational.

Patrick Vellner did Patrick Vellner things on Friday, climbing from 33rd after Event 1 all the way up to seventh place.

It’ll be a fun competition to watch this weekend on the men’s side, as no one has shown to be the runaway favorite after two days of competition.

Up Next

Athletes will face three events on Saturday before the field is cut to 30 athletes in each division. The event is based on Chad which is 1000 step-ups for time.

As Dave Castro has hinted, there will be a twist. The Games site lists the workout description as:

For time:

1,000 step-ups (35/45 lb)

*Completed as 250 trips

5 Weightlifters Injured During Men’s 89KG Event at 2024 Olympics

The Men’s 89-kilogram weightlifting event on Aug. 9 was tragic and triumphant in equal measure. On one hand, there was a slew of new records set by the gold medalist. On the other hand, 5 weightlifters injured during the competition illustrated the lengths that professional athletes will go to realize their Olympic dreams.

Of the 12 men competing for their countries at the 2024 Olympics in the 89s, five;

Venezuela, Egypt, Canada, Moldova, and host country France

were forced to either withdraw from the event or perform in immense pain — and none of the athletes from the countries would make it to the podium.

Weightlifters Injured at the Olympics | Men’s 89KG

The 89-kilogram event was among the most highly anticipated lifting sessions at the Paris Olympics. Multiple previous Olympic medalists plus world record holders colored the roster, signaling an exciting session for athlete and fan alike.

Unfortunately, the five of the dozen would suffer various injuries that either affected their strength or forced them to withdraw altogether:

Romaine Imadouchene (France) took a nasty fall early in the event and injured his left knee during a snatch. Imadouchene would bravely return in the back half of the event to muster a successful clean & jerk in front of his home crowd despite being in visible pain.

Karim Abokahla (Egypt), a medal contender, injured his elbow during the snatches as well. Clutching it as he hobbled off the stage, Abokahla withdrew from the event early on.

Boady Santavy (Canada) injured his knee on his first clean & jerk attempt; he would try once more, unable to squat the bar to a standing position, before retiring. Back room cameras showed Santavy exclaiming, “My f&#king knee, man.”

Marin Robu (Moldova) finished narrowly in 4th, despite suffering a small injury during the snatch portion. Robu would emerge for clean & jerks with his elbow wrapped in plenty of kinesiology tape.

Keydomar Vallenilla (Venezuela) grimaced and clutched at his wrist after several of his lifts, but did not withdraw. The Tokyo 2020 silver medalist was thought to be a serious threat to the podium, but Vallenilla selected weights well below what he had achieved earlier in 2024. He explained to fans on social media that he had been battling chronic pain for some time.

[Related: 2020 Olympian Predicts 2024 Weightlifting Results]

With these five partially or fully incapacitated, Bulgaria’s prodigal 20-year-old Karlos Nasar cruised smoothly into the gold medal position. Nasar set multiple new Olympic records plus a clean & jerk world record.

What It Means

While you may be tempted to view Olympic lifting as a dangerous sport after hearing about nearly half of the world’s best 89-kilogram athletes getting injured, the reality is a bit different.

Most weightlifting competitions operate from start to finish with no injuries. At the World or Olympic Games level, where the stakes are highest, athletes are more likely to make bold decisions in an attempt to claim a medal or record and the monetary gain that comes with it.

Nowhere is this truer than in Paris, where the space between bronze and fourth is may as well be planet Earth to Pluto. The Paris 2024 qualification procedure also rewarded reckless attempt selection and large jumps in weight with its leaderboard-driven eligibility.

A 2017 systematic review concluded that weightlifting is far less dangerous in terms of injury risk than most contact sports. (1)

Canadian Weightlifter Maude Charron Chugged Maple Syrup To Win Silver Medal at 2024 Olympics

O, Canada: Two-time Olympic medalist Maude Charron relied on the sticky, sugary delectability of maple syrup during the 2024 Olympics.

Charron, 31, was seen sipping on a packet of syrup moments before securing a silver medal during the culmination of the Women’s 59-kilogram weightlifting event.

[Related: 2024 Olympics Weightlifting Results + Schedule]

Is this standard practice for the strongest women athletes at the Olympic Games? No. Well, sort of. We’ll let a registered dietitian, plus one of Charron’s former teammates, explain.

Does Maple Syrup Help Weightlifters?

Weightlifting is a two-exercise sport. Athletes like Charron compete against each other to lift the most weight in two barbell exercises — the snatch and the clean & jerk — that involve moving the bar to the floor to arm’s length overhead.

To win a weightlifting event at the Olympics, you need to add your best snatch and clean & jerk together to form a Total, which is then ranked against the other athletes. In Paris, Charron, powered partially by maple syrup, placed second.

“Maple syrup is a source of simple carbs which enter the bloodstream quickly after ingestion,” says BarBend Expert and nutrition PhD Dr. Gabrielle Fundaro. “It doesn’t take long for those sugars to be made available to her muscles.”

Fundaro continues: “Theoretically, it could offer a small performance boost, but it could also be a placebo. That said, if she was fasting before the event, it really would make a difference.”

Fundaro is correct: a 2022 systematic review noted that “Carbohydrate ingestion has an ergogenic effect on [strength training] performance by enhancing volume performance, which is more likely to occur when sessions exceed 45 minutes.” (1) Weightlifting events at the Olympics typically last about two hours.

Maple syrup might as well be a delicacy to Canadians, but Charron isn’t doing anything out of the ordinary according to registered dietitian Destini Moody. “When I was involved collegiate athletics, we would give football players similar packets filled with applesauce for them to sip on,” she recounts.

Heck, even we know that nutrition matters when it comes to your workouts. But is syrup a go-to intra-workout supplement for all Canadian weightlifters? That’s the question we asked one of Charron’s teammates.

Here’s former weightlifter and World team member Richard Davidson. Davidson and Charron competed together at the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships:

“I can’t say for sure if she’s always done it, but I know other Canadian weightlifters who do. It’s a tasty way to get some glucose during competitions.”

Maude Charron | 2024 Olympics

Charron has been an internationally-competitive weightlifter for Canada since 2016. In 2021, she became the 64-kilogram Women’s weightlifting Olympic Champion (we aren’t sure if she got a boost from the syrup there, too).

In Paris, Charron battled valiantly for her second Olympic title, but ultimately fell short of the top of the podium:

Luo Shifang (CHN)

Maude Charron (CAN)

Kuo Hsing-Chun (TPE)

Gold medalist Shifang set three new Olympic records during the event while attempting to stay ahead of Charron. After her victory in Tokyo, Charron told BarBend that she had postponed her career in law enforcement to continue competing in weightlifting.

With so many categories covered under one brand, it can be difficult to order just one product at a time. Whether you’re stocking your shelves with best sellers or simply giving your supplement regimen a full restart, here are top pathways to getting the best discount on cymbiotika.com.

Introductory Promo Code

Like many other retailers, Cymbiotika offers an introductory promo code for first-time buyers. Featured in a pop-up ad when you first visit the site, this Cymbiotika coupon code offers 15% off storewide along with free shipping on subscription orders only.

Cymbiotika Elderberry

To receive your Cymbiotika promo code, you’ll need to enter your email address as well as your phone number. This email sign up does put you on the listserv for the brand’s newsletters (more on that later), which can be great for other Cymbiotika promotions. Plus, the brand offers a unique feature with this discount in that you can save the 15% off promo for a later date. The “Save for Later” button will deliver the code that can be used for purchases after your first order.

Subscribe & Save

Another top Cymbiotika coupon is the brand’s “Subscribe & Save” platform that can save you over 40% along with free shipping compared to one-time purchases. Marketed as the brand’s “Arise” program, this service also offers free gifts, exclusive subscriber discounts, and consistent support and motivation to help you stay focused and motivated when tackling your overall well-being.

Cymbiotika Molecular Hydrogen

This feature can be excellent not just for the savings, but the convenience, too. There’s no need to keep stock of, say, your best multivitamins or daily solutions, as you set your delivery schedule to your preferences. Keeping a consistent routine with these wellness supplements is key when trying to see results, so always having your goods in-stock can be greatly beneficial.

Sitewide Banner Sales

The brand also offers exclusive discounts through a running banner across the top of the Cymbiotika website. These limited time offers can be great for athletes interested in Cymbiotika products yet aren’t completely sold on signing up for repeat orders just yet. Simply copy the active Cymbiotika code down and add it to your shopping cart prior to checkout.

Cymbiotika Liposomal Vitamin B6 + B12

These deals can range in giving you a certain percentage off or might include free shipping for select items or order types. For example, the current banner offers free shipping off subscription orders only, so be sure to read through the promo before calculating your total savings.

Text & Email Newsletter

Finally, a great way to stay on top of Cymbiotika deals is by signing up for the brand’s email and text alerts. Cymbiotika emails and text notifications can help by offering exclusive discounts and announcing limited time sales. You can also likely follow the brand on social media for any large savings events, but we feel it’s best to get this info directly from the source rather than catching a deal by chance as you scroll through your timeline — who wants to miss an opportunity to get codes and save on essentials like the best probiotic supplements, right?

When Do Cymbiotika Products Go On Sale?

In addition to the aforementioned offers, there are also regular sales events where you can save some coins off Cymbiotika must-haves. How to Find Assault Fitness Discount Codes (2024)

Unlike other retailers, you won’t find a dedicated “Deals” page on the Assault Fitness website. However, there are a few tricks available to help you land the best discounts on some of the best manual treadmills, air bikes, and rowing machines out there.

1. Assault Fitness Email Newsletter

One of the easiest ways to stay in the know on working codes for Assault Fitness is by signing up for the brand’s weekly email newsletter. In addition to helpful workout guides, this email blast helps you stay informed on the latest Assault Fitness discounts on top products. Some promotions offer up site-wide savings while others may be linked to select items such as the Elite line of fitness equipment.

This bright banner showcases limited-time savings and promotions that routinely change throughout the year. This can be a quick, easy way to score exclusive discounts on select items, especially if you’re looking to purchase your first Assault Fitness product.

We also recommend opting in for notifications for the brand’s social media pages, as these often link up with the same announced deals featured along the banner. If you’re mulling over the idea of, say, adding a best air bike to your setup or want to wait to score the best Assault Fitness coupon possible, it can be wise to stay in the know rather than leaving it to chance the next time you open your web browser.

4. Fitness Equipment Financing

If you’ve gotten to the product page yet were unable to locate any Assault Fitness deals or online coupons, all is not lost. The brand offers multiple financing options that can help you stretch your payments out over a given timeline. This can be a great way for athletes to get the gear they want without a large hit to their budget in a single transaction.

“You Loved the Sport That Didn’t Love You Back”: Luka Đukić Comments on Brother Lazar’s Death

As the third men’s heat took to the floor during Event 2 on Friday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX, Luka Đukić was notably absent.

Though not a surprise, Đukić joined last year’s reigning champions, Jeff Adler and Laura Horvath, in withdrawing from the 2024 CrossFit Games after his brother Lazar Dukic’s tragic death during the swim portion during Event 1 of the competition on Thursday.

Prior to Friday’s first event, Đukić posted an Instagram story in tribute to his brother, saying, “You loved the sport that didn’t love you back.”

“No tribute will ever give you back to me,” he wrote.

During the tribute to Lazar that began the day, Luka watched from the stands, unable to fight back tears.

Like Horvath and Slovakia’s Karin Frey, who also decided not to compete this weekend, Đukić expressed some anger about his brother’s death.

“This is something that could have been prevented and there is no way of going around it,” Đukić wrote in his story.

That being said, Đukić also said he has “huge respect” for all the athletes who are choosing to compete.

“Maybe there will be some time in the future where I will be able to share more, for now, this is everything I will share on the matter. My brother, you touched more lives than you know and you will live forever,” he added.

Thankfully, we’ve done some of the legwork to track these Kaged promotions down, so let’s outline some of the best Kaged discount codes to ensure your expenses aren’t outweighing your bench total when it comes time to restock your supplements cabinet.

How to Find Kaged Discount Codes (2024)

Like other supplement retailers, Kaged offers a slew of coupon codes that can help you reap some savings prior to checkout. Take a look at some of the easiest ways we’ve found to help lessen your shopping cart’s total when shopping on kagedmuscle.com.

1. Introductory ‘Free Shipping’ Promo

You’re quickly hit with a money-saving opportunity when you first get onto the Kaged webpage. A pop-up ad emerges offering free shipping on your first order. To receive this verified coupon, you’ll need to input your email (thus signing you up for the Kaged Muscle newsletter) and your phone number for text-driven promotions. Once that data has been given, you’ll receive a Kaged Muscle offer applicable to your introductory order at the checkout page.

We also appreciate that Kaged doesn’t limit free shipping to first-time shopping experiences. As indicated by the rolling banner present on the site, you can receive free shipping on Kaged Muscle product orders over $79.

2. Military Discount

Kaged also offers a military discount for active and former members of our armed service branches. To receive this 20% coupon for sitewide orders, you’ll need to verify your military affiliation with your GovX ID. Once verified, you’ll click a ‘Show Code’ button to receive your single-use discount to apply at checkout.

You can use your GovX ID verification for multiple promos, although you’re limited to just one discount code per day. For future purchases, simply log in with your GovX ID to unlock a new discount code to get 20% off Kaged Muscle go-tos like the brand’s best greens powders, creatine, intra-workout blends, and more.

3. First Responders, Healthcare Workers, and Student Discount

The available promotional codes aren’t just for military members, though. Kaged offers deals for first responders, healthcare workers, government employees, teachers, and students, too. All of the following groups are managed through Verify Pass, where you’ll input the requested data to ensure you’re eligible for the proper savings.

First responders (law enforcement, fire, and EMS), federal, state, and local government employees, teachers (K-12, University teachers and staff), and students are eligible for 20% off promo codes for their next order.

4. Kaged Rewards

Another easy way to get codes for your favorite Kaged products is by signing up for the brand’s rewards program. For every dollar you spend on the site, you’ll receive 25 points that can be redeemed for gift cards totaling up to $20 off your next purchase. Additionally, Kaged will give you 50 points for signing up, as well as an annual bonus of 125 points on your birthday.

This rewards program also features a ‘Refer a Friend’ program that allows you and your training partners to get in on these Kaged Muscle promo codes. When you opt into the service, you’ll receive a personalized link that will give your friends $15 off their entire purchase. In return for getting Kaged some new, (hopefully) dedicated customers, you’ll receive $30 off your next order, too.

5. Subscribe & Save

Lastly, an excellent way to get the best creatine supplements, whey protein powders, and everything else from the Kaged roster is through the brand’s ‘Subscribe & Save’ platform. Rather than loading up your shopping cart each time your supplements cabinet runs barren, you can opt in for repeat orders on a dedicated schedule. Think of it as Auto Pay for your nutritional routine.

As part of this Subscribe & Save service, you can receive free delivery on all orders as well as up to 10% off storewide. This can be a worthwhile solution for those that tend to let their supplement supplies run low, leading to a few days in-between orders where you’re without product.
