Vision Fitness Launches ‘Value-Conscious’ Commercial Strength Line

The Johnson Health Tech subsidiary is leaning into the strength training craze, unveiling 32 pieces of selectorized, plate-loaded and free-weight equipment

Vision Fitness, an equipment supplier under Johnson Health Tech, has wasted little time flexing its innovative muscles this year, adding to its arsenal with a large dosage of strength training and a dash of cardio.

The brand announced a 32-piece strength training equipment line and two new pieces of cardio at IHRSA 2024 earlier this year, with the equipment set to roll out over the course of 2024.

The new equipment line targets “value-conscious” clubs, hotels, and other verticals, Vision Fitness says.

The equipment maker has already launched a 14-piece selectorized strength equipment collection, with pieces split evenly between single and dual stations.

A second phase featuring a 16-piece plate-loaded and free-weight strength line is slated to launch in Q3 this year. Two new cardio pieces are set to release this year as well.

The selectorized strength line has been tested to withstand over one million reps which is more than four times the industry standard, per Vision. Stations have open frame designs with color-coded adjustment points and exercise placards, making them adaptable for any lifter at any level.

“We are incredibly excited to offer a full-commercial product line and expand our assortment, headlined by the brand-new selectorized strength line,” said Jeff Moser, senior director of sales for Vision. “Now with our full collection of durable, intuitive strength units, Vision is a great choice for any fitness facility looking for reliability and value in their equipment, creating instant equity for the facility owner.”

The addition to Vision’s product line coincides with one to the brand’s executive team. While announcing the new equipment, Vision also officially named Chris Torggler as general manager of its U.S. Vision Commercial Group.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Johnson Health Tech team in this new role,” Torggler said. “The new Vision product line is incredibly strong and represents a tremendous step forward for the brand. I’m excited to bring it to the market with Johnson and its strong team.”

Torggler has 30 years of commercial fitness industry sales and product leadership experience, having spent time with Stairmaster, Precor and Inspire Fitness.

This new equipment will be sold through the largest network of fitness dealers in the United States, including Johnson Fitness and Wellness, and Johnson Commercial Fitness, both of which are owned by Johnson Health Tech.

Johnson Health Tech also owns brands fitness equipment giant Matrix and BowFlex, which it recently purchased after the once-booming at-home fitness supplier filed for bankruptcy.
