The 2024 Mr. and Mrs. Lions Classic Pro event will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in Guadalajara, Mexico. This show will feature the IFBB Pro League Wellness division, and four competitors are on the roster to compete. The winner of the show will earn a qualification to compete in the 2024 Wellness Olympia, a part of the Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas, NV on Oct. 10-13. 2024.

Here’s who will be facing each other down in Mexico.

Marissa Andrews

Marissa Andrews goes into the show as the early favorite. She is coming off a third-place finish at the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro, and she was ninth at the 2023 Wellness Olympia. She will be looking for her third career pro victory. Her previous two came at the 2023 Texas Pro and 2022 St. Louis Pro.

Lilian Nava

Lilian Nava will represent the host country and is set to make her 2024 season debut. Her last show came at the 2023 Pharlabs Sur Pro Cup, where she placed ninth. She is entering her second pro season.

Debora Paula De Oliveira

Debora Paula De Oliveira is coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2024 Vancouver Island Showdown Pro. This is her second show in her third pro season. Some experts and fans see her as the biggest threat to defeat Andrews in this show.

Etzel Angelina Riestra Martinez

The other athlete from Mexico in this show is Etzel Angelina Riestra Martinez, who is making her IFBB Pro League debut. A smaller lineup like this could be advantageous for a pro debut, but it could also work against her because she has yet to be in a larger lineup. She turned pro at the 2022 NPC Worldwide Mexican National Championships.

Other May 18, 2024 Bodybuilding Contests

There are two Wellness division shows set for this particular day. The other show is a part of the 2024 New York Pro, set to take place in Teaneck, NJ. The winner of that event also qualifies for the Olympia, if she had not qualified going into the contest.
